Sourcing Manager

As a Sourcing Manager, you will lead and empower our purchasing team, serving as the primary driver for supplier relationship management. Through expert contract negotiation, you will maximize performance in cost, quality, and delivery. This role requires deep collaboration with Hardware Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure all sourcing strategy fully supports product roadmaps and secures long-term supply resilience.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support company growth, cost, and quality goals.
- Monitor market trends, cost movements, and lead-time risks to identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
- Validate and qualify suppliers, define performance metrics, and implement supplier KPIs.
- Negotiate pricing, frame agreements, payment terms, and volume discounts to optimize total cost of ownership.
- Support design changeovers and new product introductions (NPI) through early supplier engagement and readiness planning.
- Assess risks in the supply base and define mitigation strategies to secure continuity of supply.
- Lead and coordinate outsourcing activities to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives, focusing on cost efficiency, scalability, and long-term business growth.
- Lead and develop the purchasing team, improving sourcing processes, tools, and coordination.
- Build long-term partnerships with key suppliers to ensure innovation, capacity, and cost stability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure sourcing aligns with engineering requirements and production plans.

What we hope you’ll bring to the table:
- 6–10 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in an industrial, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, cost savings, and contract management.
- Strong experience in supplier qualification, onboarding, and performance management.
- Familiarity with both mechanical and electronic component supply chains.
- Analytical, data-driven mindset with proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools.
- Experience leading and mentoring people.
- Excellent collaboration skills, especially with Engineering, Operations, and Production Planning teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
