We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Operations Services team. Our Operations Services team is at the core of ensuring smooth, efficient, and intelligent on-site operations. They design and implement systems for on-site operations management, real-time asset tracking, remote diagnostics and support, and streamlined maintenance and repair workflows. Their mission is to empower teams with the tools and data they need to work smarter, safer, and faster.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Developing and testing new features and services, primarily in the backend.
• Maintaining, improving, and optimising existing implementations.
• Working with data to analyse system performance, identify bottlenecks, and uncover improvement opportunities.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to technical decisions for upcoming development initiatives.
• Collaborating closely with other engineering teams to share knowledge and continuously raise the bar across the organisation.

What we hope you’ll bring to the table:

• Solid experience in backend development, with expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, Docker, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, and Redis.
• Experience working with distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• A data-driven mindset with a strong focus on secure coding practices.
• Practical experience integrating systems via REST APIs.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for robotics and working in a cross-functional product team that blends hardware and software.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks - from idea to implementation.
• Strong, proactive communicator in English, with a collaborative and open mindset.
• Familiarity with any of the following technologies is a plus: Kubernetes, NestJS, Next.js, Grafana, GoLang, Jenkins, Jest, GraphQL, React, and React Native.
