We're looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our team in Finland or Estonia. This role is a unique blend of operational, legal, and strategic tasks, with a focus on supporting employees, ensuring compliance, and driving HR initiatives locally and regionally.

Your main areas of responsibility are:

• Employee Support and Collaboration with Managers: Be the first point of contact for Finnish employees, assisting with HR policies, benefits, labor laws, and workplace compliance.
• People Operations: Manage HR records, process employment documents (contracts, amendments, terminations), and oversee time-off requests (vacation, sick leave).
• Compliance and Legal Requirements: Ensure adherence to Finnish labor laws, collaborate with legal teams, and maintain compliance across HR activities.
• HR Data and Reporting: Generate and analyse HR reports (headcount, attrition, payroll), ensure the accuracy of all HR data, and make sure submissions are timely for payroll and compliance.
• Project and Initiative Management: Lead local HR initiatives and contribute to global projects that enhance employee engagement and well-being. Proactively identify and implement process improvements.
• Global Collaboration: Support People Operations activities in other European countries and in our Global People team.

What we hope you’ll bring to the table:

• Fluency in Finnish and excellent communication skills in English.
  
• Strong knowledge of Finnish labor legislation and employer regulatory requirements.
  
• Experience in People Operations or other HR roles, ideally supporting multiple countries.
  
• Familiarity with People Operations tools (BambooHR or similar), and processes, including time-off policies, employment contract management, and compliance requirements.
  
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach, with strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  
• Cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively in a diverse, international environment.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills, with a proven ability to prioritize and collaborate across teams and regions.
