As an Linux Software Engineer, you will be working with something amazingly innovative!
We have a delivery robot with custom hardware. You would be working side by side with the hardware engineers, with a system that works in a real world on a real thing, providing a service for real people. You can see your work rolling around the streets, helping people.
You don’t need to build everything from scratch, but you can significantly develop it as you wish. Have your own input. See the results.

Your main responsibilities are:
- Designing Starship robot Linux operating system architecture
- Developing Linux system level components
- Building hardware abstraction libraries
- Developing robot communication software

What we hope you’ll bring to the table:
- Excellent knowledge of Linux operating system internals
- Good knowledge of Linux system tools and technologies
- Fluent in Python and C, knowing C++ is beneficial
- Expertise in network software and protocols
- Experience in working with 4G/5G modems
- Interest in debugging complex software & hardware problems
- Ability to achieve results independently as well as through teamwork
- A can-do attitude, striving for pragmatic yet maintainable solutions
